It's things like this which make me believe that a sex change is all a sport class rider needs to become a world champ.

I'm just happy there was one event without Pastrana and his mom hanging around.

I'm kidding. I don't give any sort of fvck. Those ladies should though, that was embarrassing.

Those ladies did not make the softball team.
How many size 2 softball players do you know?

Softball players would have KILLED that course.

<edit> Tosh blog comments FTW!

I've heard women have a hard time riding anything Japanese.
<edit2> The comment on the comment is pure gold.

I think it's because Japanese men have tiny penises...if you know what I mean

First time I watched it I laughed pretty hard, then stopped when I realized that's almost exactly how I would look riding that course, and I'm sure 98% of RM members would as well.

It's not a women thing. Look at the women racing mountain bikes. They don't look like Helen Keller on the course.

And that's why I watch the X Games from the couch. Are you saying they should as well?

I would do a lot worse. At the same time I certainly wouldn't think that I was good enough to show up and try it on a televised event.

I lol'd while watching it on TV. Apparently none, let me repeat that, NONE of the women who raced had any enduro cross or trials experience. They are all Supercross racers and did this event because the track was there, apparently. This is kind of a joke because the women all 'qualified' by just showing up. And since none of them had to qualify, they were riding it for effectively the first time since a short practice in the morning. It wasn't racing but survival.

Look at the men racing the course in comparison. Most have heavy trials or enduro racing experience, which this sport combines heavily. While the men were all over the place too, think how hard that course must be if it took them 8 heats to widdle down the field to the final.

It is a sport that requires serious ability to man-handle your bike and the women are just not strong enough. I was kind of surprised that the women weren't riding little 4-stroke 250's or smaller. Hell, a kids moto bike would have handled better for most of them.

I watched part of the street BMX contest, it was horrible. I am not exactly a BMX aficionado but I have always been in awe when watching other contests. This one sucked, everything I saw seemed forced and awkward, like a bad porno. Maybe it was a poorly designed course, the fake graffiti and other 'street' elements made me LOL.
