Interesting development. So no top XC or DH guys. I recall an announcement about an Enduro race, so maybe the Enduro Pros will show up? Not terribly exciting compared to DH though. The UCI have altered the date of the first event in Pietermaritzburg from the 5th, 6th April to the 10-13th April. This is the same weekend as the:

it's a requirement, as the event is held within san francisco's "zone of entitlement"sea otter is an epic waste of time and money
Isn't it known now as the great techie zone of eviction?it's a requirement, as the event is held within san francisco's "zone of entitlement"
you have been paying attention.Isn't it known now as the great techie zone of eviction?
Since when has the UCI given two ****s about mountain bike sponsors,On a serious note, I would think:
- Sponsors would not be happy at having to send people to 2 events at the same time
- Sponsors would be pissed at not having pros to highlight the new products being launched
- Teams and sponsors might be more receptive than before about bolting UCI to a new DH series (like what happened with Enduro)
Nah. But you can buy just about anything if you have the mom...I mean money.Ahhhh, so THAT'S how demo9 is planning on doing World Cups this year
ROAD, XC then DH I would guess. What has the bigger draw at Seeyodder, road or mtb?
fixed for yaYou would all be naive to assume my mom hasnt already purchased the wc overall and shipping
Different priorities. Some of us like racing, and watching racing. The DH event is a **** show, and I don't usually bother to stay for that, but the DS is amazing.Hell even when I lived less than 30 miles from Fort Ord/Laguna Seca I still never went to the Sea Otter. Of course the benefit of having it so close is that all the local posers went and our local trails were nice and empty for the rest of us to shred.
