My sister recently moved to Raleigh, NC, and was asking me about bikes and such. She's thinking about buying a couple bikes for her and her boyfriend. I told her to look for last years bikes since they'll be a bit cheaper.

I need to know where some quality bike shops are where she can try out a couple different bikes, and get a good deal.

If they're close to Cary, tell them to check out Performance Bicycles and The Spin Cycle. I go to both shops and they always have what I'm looking for.

They are in Raleigh. I don't know anything about the area. Is Cary a town outside of Raleigh?

cary is basically west raleigh.

it's one big town.

My recommendation: The Bicycle Chain. They have 3 stores in the area, one in raleigh, which borders Cary (they are one huge suburban blob).
