In a van.... down by the river
rolled into work for a bit. did another tv spot. having "sugar shack" of "good times" fame here is drawing a lot of attention/visitors: https://www.mintmuseum.org/artist-ernie-barness-iconic-masterpiece-the-sugar-shack-now-on-view-at-the-mint-museum/

a few meetings, then reviewing applications for a dept. assistant. trying to schedule some work travel. also trying to schedule dishwasher install. also also trying to figure out where to go for the kiddo's spring break in mid-April. olympic nat'l park? utah area nat'l parks? costa rica? ???
Utah parks would be the obvious choice. They will be kinda mobbed in mid-April, though.

The Other Farmington CT
Constant weight & resistance training effort on the shoulder finally settled in w/ soreness, midweek. No weights, instead short intensity efforts on the trainer since Tuesday. Also 2.5hrs, 38 miles, 2800' in 30° on the raciest commuter bike I can handle.

Looks like my Vice President along with a handful of other executives at work have decided to "spend more time with their families" all at the same time. Around these parts that is code for getting "shitcanned", leadership needs to maintain the veneer of infallibility. She was rather smart but completely unable to make a decision.

This place needs a proper executive decimation or ten.

Shit. Not even 15k miles on the 50k tires and I gotta deal with this. Looks like the recommendation on AWD is to replace all 4 at once to avoid damage to the drivetrain. Going in for a scheduled annual service tomorrow anyway so looks like perfect timing.

Can probably be patched.

I'd take the wheel off before bringing it to a shop so they cannot try to upsell you a whole new set of tires.

yeah, that doesn't seem like a bad location. your neighborhood Les Schwab or Discount Tire should be able to take care of that for free.

*Cross fingers they don't state it's too close to the sidewall and won't repair it. I've had that happen to me.
