MFer I had a rough night. Legs painfully cramped up 4 times and my lower back is way stiff. Hopefully thighs loosen up or today is going to suck big time. Time to make some coffee

Was cold & gloomy outside thanks to yet another giant cold front passing over the area, and my back and glutes were Le Sore from 6-hour hiking/trail maintenance yesterday. I determined soaking in Epsom salt bath sipping martini was the best course of action to take, immediately followed by a nap.
Just woke up 2 hours ago. Ate some beer brats accompanied by Bubbies sauerkraut (recommended if you like kraut). Working on the second round of martini of the day as I type.

303's, only good down to mid-20's normally. But it was 32 when we started and then cooled rapidly, wouldn't have wanted to be out there for any longer than the 2hr30 we were.

Yeah, I don't have perfect shoes for those temps...sidi 3/4 are only good to about 35, and the wolvhammers are too warm above about 10.

I got a pair of aerogel insoles for my 303s and have ridden them as low as 5°f without issue. The insoles they come with are definitely the weak point
Had something similar. Felt a burning, scratchy sensation, and thought I was getting a cold. But it was just a pice of chili pepper stuck in my sinus cavity.
Probably one of them brain amoebas.
Swapped to aerogel insoles a couple of years ago and it didn't seem to make much difference,
My buddy got a branch up his nostril on yesterday's fatbike ride. Maybe check to see if it's that?
