Yo,
I got some ODI Rogues on both my bikes. Recently I have been noticing the grip are starting to slip a bit. I tried removing and retightening them but the are still a bit loose.
Anyone got any tips on how to fix em?

Make sure that you grease the threads on the lock on bolts.
Use a little Tacx Dynamic Carbon Assembly Paste inside the grip and on the bar and slide the grip on and tighten, they will stay put.

Problem is that they were most likely over tightened in the first place, i see this ALOT. You dont need to grease the bolts, in fact your not supposed to, they have a thread lock on them already that works like Spokeprep, seals up, and breaks free enough for adjustment, then locks back up. It still amazes me how many people do not use a torque wrench when assembling there bikes, If you can put a TW on it, you should.

You need to grease the threads. Remember, never put anything in a dry hole.

Without grease, you can't get an accurate torque reading. I torque wrench on a dry bolt would be wrong.

When installing new bike parts, I always disassemble them completely and grease all the threads. Avid brakes are some of the worst for this. The threads are bone dry.

The bolts on lock-ons only need to be snug.
