Its TrueTemper SuperTherm steel tubing. During the welding process, material in the heat affected zone gets discolored (among other things). What makes SuperTherm so great is that the heat from the weld arc will strengthen the tubing around the weld without requiring heat-treating like aluminum frames.
My guess is all tubes were polished prior to welding, then it was cleared with a slight tint of yellow in the clear. It look like it was heat treated or phosphated.
That is purdy for sure.
Black tint (smoke), blue, or a slight purple tint to the clear over raw might be cool too...
