Cool didn't realize you guys used it over on the west coast. It's best on steamed Maryland blue crabs. If you have crab chips too there covered in it.
I went to a restaurant here, Awful Arthurs, who serves fries covered in that stuff. Gack!!!

What fries with old bay are awesome... did you grow up near the eastern shore?
I like the rust on the bottom of the can. 
I just picked up some last week. Never tried it before. We'll see.

I have it and use it too. They have a few newer flavor additions too (lemon & herb and garlic & herb).
No I'm a damn yankee from near Buffalo, NY living in Richmond, VA. Awful Arthurs is a place in Nags Head, NC and they also have a place here.
A little bit of that stuff goes a long way. These were covered with the stuff. Google "cinnamon challenge" and you'll get the idea.
I will agree blue crabs boiled in it are quite tasty.
