I also have to crash because it is 11pm here and I spent all day carefully clearing overgrown canopy in my upper garden whilst trying really hard not to damage the dense and delicate ground cover. Moved about 1500kg of biomass in ten thousand pieces very slowly with far too much bodily contortion going on. Might go for a massage tomorrow. My back and shoulders are complaining considerably. Hashtag tramadol? Let’s see how the neurofen does...
I meant to go out in the woods and do some work yesterday, but winds were high enough that I decided not.

My brisket finally finished at 11:30, but my ribs were done in time for dinner. So I will make brisket tacos tonight, that will be good. Lil Man has 2 games today, so I will likely catch one or both. But first I need to field day the kitchen so the wife doesn't come home to brisketapocalypse.

so much crap to do today, might squeeze in a short dirt ride. excellent tacos last night and a long session of weight lifting. So stoked on my new glasses I can see clearly for the first time in a long time.

LONG day yesterday at Alex's gymnastics meet. She had a season's best showing on floor (9.45) earning her the top of the podium. Top on bars and second on beam (3rd on vault) = 2nd place overall by 1/10th of a point and another qualifying score for nationals. Not too shabby! Supposed to snow today but I am getting my private students and then heading to one of my students' surprise sweet 16 party for a little bit.

Wife and I went to Costco today and it was a fuckin' ZOO with 10" of snow on the way this afternoon. We needed some stuff though totally unrelated to storm hoarding. The bill came to $400 and we should have waited until tomorrow when everything is cheaper thanks to TRUMP! lmfao
