Has anyone rode Papago Park? I saw that the hotel that I am staying at in close to the park and was wondering if it is worth it?

Not much there other than some drops, some pretty big.

You can get in a fairly low tech 10 miles by doing most of the trails there. They meander through the park and cross the road to go past the Zoo. Nothing tech you need to go to South Mountain for that.

We used to ride there after hanging out at the bars in Tempe for a bit..... we'd always end up at the bars again afterwards.....hmmmm....good rides.

There's a loop you can ride that will give you a taste of the Sonoran desert. There's also a dirt jump/drop area. Most importantly, as peter points out, there are many bars in nearby Tempe!
