Thanks metal dude. I have heard that ellijay is pretty good but I did not know you could shuttle there. About how long are the runs? I know windrock is sweet but atl is a 6 or 7 hour drive from here so I was looking for something in ga.

Blairsville has Beasley Knob ORV trail.

http://www.greatgeorgiaproperties.com/outdoor-adventures/Beasley-Knob-ORV-trail.htm

Only ridden it once (no motohedz that day) and it was a f'in push from hellz. But the ride down was extremely awesome. Fast, tight downhill with nice rolling jumps and berms carved into the mountain. The top part was closed due to snow, but looked as steep as anything I rode at WR.

Will def hit again this fall.
holy jeez that's close to my mom's place! thanks for the info. :happydance:

Runs at Bear Creek and Mountain Town are pretty long.
Bear is approx... 20-30 mins. it has 92.5% dh and a couple
slight rolling climbs but you can clean em on a big bike
Mountain Town is approx.... 11-12 mi. with similar terrain
and about 6-8 creek crossings. shuttles run 15min. for Bear and 25min. MT
Carters Lake Dh is approx... 1 mi. and shuttle about 5 min. free camping
Holla back if you want some!
I can give you directions or you can stop
by my house on the way up, I live 1 min. off I-75 - S. of Atl.
going up early Sat. morn may camp Sat. night and do more Sun.
got about 4-5 of us going up for shuttles all day weather permitting!

Is Pigeon mtn, in the NW corner of GA, still open to bikes? Back in the pregravity days no one rode there and it was pretty tech for the bieks of the time. Dirt roads to top for shuttling.
