What's the weather like at the end of May/early June? Good riding weather?

We're spending a few of days in Victoria, Vancouver and Seattle. Total 10 days in the area. Any trail/park recommendations? We've never been to this part of the country.

fromme, seymour, grouse, whistler early season biking (if they're open -- skiing might still be going on if we're lucky/unlucky)...

You MUST go to Whistler, it is definately everything that you've heard. I went 2 summers ago and would go back if I had the time. Excellent riding, lift lines can get a bit trecherous at times, but overall Whistler kicks ass in the summer.

Like the others said, Whistler and the Shore are all you need to see to see the best riding anywhere...

Do places like Whistler (definitely on my list) and Shore have trails for less experienced riders? My wife has just gotten the mountain bike bug and is wanting to go riding with me, but her skills are not so great. She thinks these kinds of places only cater to advanced riders.

whistler certainly has trails for all levels. the shore does as well, but you'll/she'll have to have a base level of fitness, as you climb or push up yourself.
