So it seems I have to squeeze my stancions together then clamp fork to get rid of side to side play in the hub. Not sure if this hub is a bad hub or what but it will eventually come loose and start knocking. anyone else have this issue
Hope hubs are pretty easy to service your in luck! You do need a tool to remove the lock ring off the cassette but thats about it. Hope this link helpshttp://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=283367
last time i checked 20mm was only the front.. but then again i could be wrong which is often, I had the 20mm adapters on my hope pro II on my lyrik and it had minor side to side play thats but didnt do any damage, theres really nothing too those hubs besides two c-clips
There is a problem with the compatibility of Hope 20mm hubs and RS maxle. Lots of discussion on many forums over the issue and whose fault it is. I had the same problem with my Pike and when I put the wheel on my Fox or Marzocchi, no issues. If you have another brand fork try it on that one. Also, make sure it's not the hub body, bearing should be tight in the body.
