Ok i'm 15 and i'm starting to race on June 5 i've been biking every day that the weather permitts about 30-45Km on the road cause my english teacher who is a marathon runner says that is the the best way to increase my heart strangth and make my lungs bigger for XC but i was wondering is this really the right thing to do and what's the best types of food to eat. basically i need to get as fit as possible asap.
