I am wondering which of these pads will work better for all mountain type riding. I have heard that the POCs fit very snug for pedaling, but I am worried that they may be to heavy duty, as they are intended for DH. I've never used either pad. wondering what everyone thinks?

thanks

nope. POC's are the best knee pad for pedaling. and i used to be a die hard 661 user.

they also stay in place better. ive been using mine for a year, for both DH and occasional AM.

I'm very familiar with their stuff, if you have more ?'s feel free to ask.

I have the 661 XC D3O pads and they feel a lot like knee warmers in terms of restriction to pedaling. i.e. not much. But they will not be as protective as the POC pads. I may try the VPD POCS as the shop just got a proper size run in recently. Neither the small or large I tried earlier felt right.
