I am flying out to Portland at the end of this month and I may have some time before my buddy gets out of work. What beer bars have the best selection of Micros and food to help me pass the time?

hahahahaha - where do I start? Do you want to be downtown, NW, SW, SE...what area of town?

Area is not as important as beer selection and atmosphere.

If my buddy is working I will have to take a cab from the airport with my luggage and bike case.

He will pick me up from where ever.

You can never go wrong at either Rogue or Deschutes in downtown Portland. I like Laurelwood a lot too though. Hell, while we're at it, I really like the New Old Lompoc on N. Williams (there are a few locations).

Go to Deschutes. You don't need a great selection when you're drinking the best stuff from OR.

Pretty sure Portland has the highest number of breweries. You can pretty much throw a rock and hit good beer there...
