What do they use that thing for? It seems bizarre that you would want to remove trees and not use them for anything. Hell, even firewood sells for good money these days.
I think it has more to do with establishing a strong forest presence against the insurgent trees than any financial gain.

You are left with a mess of twisted metal compared to a nice compact lump of crushed car...

And I agree about the trees. What a FvckUp.






Still, as a Crazy-Ass Machine, it certainly is.

That was my thought exactly. They have a machine that will do the same thing in a tenth the time, but recycle the entire car.
I also like how they did it on bare dirt, but obviously didn't drain any fluids. This is why wrecking yards are all enviromental disasters.
