Flat-tracking is pretty damn fun.
Watching the Monster Energy Cup and seeing Ryan Dungey adjusting his foot shifter with his left hand in the air over a 70 footer with guys in the air next to him reminded me of a flat-tracker story I once heard. Skip Van Leuuwen was an oldschool flat-track racer, and one of the courses that had some jumps in it, he snapped his throttle cable, so he was going off these jumps on a old-ass ratrod while leaning down and pulling up on the throttle cable above the carb to get the thing to go.
I don't know which one is the bigger badass.
I love how he cranks the wheel to the right when he starts heading for the wall. The steering seems a little unresponsive.
