The XC crowd never gets credit for how many parts they go through. Post up your most recent or most gnarly wreckage for all to see. Here's a list of what I wrecked this season to get it started (see here for pics and some stories about emailing mfrs. to get replacements):

Worn out

* 1 lower derailleur pulley (XTR 970)
* 1 chain (SRAM PC-991)
* 1 cassette (XT 760)
* 1 set of pivot bearings (for Superlight swingarm)
* 1 pair of headset bearings
* 1 sets of shift cables
* 2 sets of shift housing
* 1 saddle (WTB Pure V Pro - cover wore a hole)
* 1 pair of pedals (Time ATAC XS carbon)
* 2 sets of brake pads
* NO TIRES!! they're almost dead and relegated to the training wheelset, but still...(Panaracer Fire XCs rule)

Catastrophically failed (or thereabouts):

* 3 rims (2 Mavic XC717 1 Stan's ZTR Olympic - Taco, dent, broken weld, respectively)
* 2 spokes (Wheelsmith DB15)
* 1 lower derailleur pulley (XTR 970 - cracked in half)
* 1 shock (Progressive 5th Element Air - oil leak)
* 1 fork - 2x (Fox F100x - 1. oil leak and inertial valve fail. 2. bushings wore through enamel on stanchions)
* 1 saddle (WTB Pure V Pro - broken rails)
* 1 rollamajig (Avid - flex joint failed)
* 1 hub bearing (in Tune Kong hub - failed seal on cartridge)
* 1 suspension pivot (SC Superlight - bent)
* 1 chainring bolt (generic - head popped off)
* 1 chain - 2x (SRAM PC-991 - broken links)
* Literally a pile of tubes

1 XTR cassette
3 middle chainrings
Handfull of spokes
Worn out WTB saddle
X0 Gripshifter
X9 derailleur
2 sets of enduro seals on my Fox
1 set of XT bottom bracket bearings
2 sets of grips

I the last 2 years, I have had a jockey wheel fall off my Rear Derailleur during a ride and a chain link bend on me because I shifted going up a steep hill w/o thinking.

Also a flat because my wife slashed my front tire because she was ticked I was going to go riding.
