Let me make a calculated guess, it's 4'6" tall and long enouph to apparently instill fear into most, looks like fun to me though. by the way, it's as easy as counting the 6x6's in the picture, the jump is 9 6x6's tall, and let me go back to my math skills, 6" x 9 = 54" or 4 foot 6 inches. I have not hit it but it does look fun, it would be even more fun if after the 35 foot ledge they dug a drop away at about a 30 degree angle down about 20-30 foot of elevation. that way you could hit it at speed and just float inches above the ground all the way down making it a 50 plus foot jump. hint hint diablo.

put it this way, you can't possibly hit this jump too fast. that's all you need to remember.

I thought the pro jump wasn't open. I haven't been there in about a month, has that changed?

FWIW, dimensional lumber is actually smaller than the numbers given.
2x4= 1.5x3.5
2x6= 1.5x5.5
2x8= 1.5x7.25-7.5
2x10= 1.5x9.25
2x12= 1.5x11.25
4x4= 3.5x3.5
6x6= 5.5x5.5

yeah i was depressed when i saw gates infront of it this weekend.

You also gotta take into account that the ground slopes downward from the edge of the wooden stacks to where the landing slopes down more, which makes it roughly 6 feet

I don't know guys, it looked to me like the US Open pros were pedaling as hard as they could up to and over that jump. I just use that as my guideline.
