profile 20mm hub to 15mm

I love homemade conversions. Wish I had balls to do some of them. I think the trouble sometimes is (besides the fact that you may f something up) that you have to find the right size hardware.

For example the sleeve needed, in this case, would have to be 20mm in diameter with a 2.5mm thick wall, right? Sounds like it could be a hit-or-miss at the hardware store.

There is no way you would find that at the hardware store. If you don't have access to a machine shop just go buy another hub.
