So we did a ride up Waterton this afternoon and decided to do the "short" IC ride and go down Stevens Gulch. Holy deadfall, Batman. 
We dealt with non-stop deadfall probably for a mile or more on the downhill. Wasted all kinds of time.... don't do it. Trust me.
