Just out of curiousity how many of you guys have blown something up while racing (any discipline) and had to throw away a weekend cause you couldn't find racer supoort (ex. spare parts, mechanic)? It seems to me that if you are not on a team or think way in advance you are kinda hung out to dry. What if there was support next season?....how many of you would find value in something like that?

At Telluride I messed up my derailleur pretty bad. Luckily there was a shop in the Mountain Village that fixed it. I think it would be awesome to have support for people without a team. I am on a team but its not like we have people to come and fix our bikes... yet.

Saftey in numbers for sure bud. I've always had strong support from all the teams in MSC. Try a national race once. Gary Fisher does not lend out tire levers...(in case your wondering) I'd like to think any core MSC team would help any amature racer compete.
