i am about to buy a dh bike.

is 17.3 in (44cm) too much of a reach for a 6'0'' (1,83m) rider?

it is a large size and the medium has 1in shorter reach (16.3in-41,5 cm).

(stem is 45mm, so i guess i can't storten it much)

what do you think? large or medium?

I think 44cm is too much.
I'm 6'1" and my large Banshee Legend has 41.5cm, which is quite long.

exactly my friend!! don't you feel that you are over the bars in tricky stuff, though???

something that made me curious is that the reach of the large frame in transition TR450 and banshee legend, that many riders use is about 16.3in-41,5 cm.


how are riders taller than 6'2'' gonna fit in them?

specialized demo in large size has a reach of 44.7cm...

intense m9 44cm...

My Large 2009 V10 has a reach of 41.91 cm (16.5") and that is comfortable for me at 6'2.
