bo diddley as zydeco? really?

he's got the 12 bar stomp down pat. zydeco for me is an upbeat rhythm w/ accordian.

Nevermind...call it a stoner moment...I was thinking of Buckwheat Zydeco. For some bizarre reason, I always confuse those guys for one another even though they aren't really very similar.

A good starter album is Martin Scorsese presents the blues. It's a nice compilation of the major players and influences of the blues from his documentry.

For jazz, Maynard Fergussen, Miles Davis, Dizzie G.

all good choices....

Duke is awesome in concert, as is "Little Charlie and the Nightcats"

The bad plus, they do covers of classic songs such as Iron man, and It smells like teen spirit. They are good,
