Ok so every year in Ireland one of the local clubs organises a race called the Epic blast, it's a different take on the mega avalanche. There are heats all day to essentially see who gets into the final blast. It's a mass start at the top of the hill, 400 riders and you all go flat out to get into the forest. It has been getting bigger and bigger every year. Well this year Red bull jumped on board and next thing the Red bull foxhunt was born. Gee Atherton came over along with his brother Dan to take part in the mayhem. Here's the video...it was bananas.

the atmosphere was unreal, there is no planned route, straight across the heather any path you choose there could be holes rocks, bogs, anything at all, once you get into the forest it's mayhem as well, as it's roots and mud to deal with, along with a few jumps thrown in for the buzzer.
