Reducing SPV air volume from linear to progressive. will it cause the first half of stroke to be more reactive than it was before it ramps up?
setup: manitou six way on a gemini DH, single pivot, 3"stroke, 7.1" of travel, 35% sag, using all the travel, 250lb spring, 150lbs with gear.
volume 1 turn in from full
low speed all the way out
high speed all the way out
50lbs psi
3 clicks from out rebound
I want this shock to have more supple, quicker action. will this work? or what will happen?

Well, what you can do is reduce your air volume to say 50%, lower your air pressure as well... that should give you a bit more suppleness. Your sag will be increased though. If you find you're bottoming out, increase highspeed. Lowspeed should remain full out if you want to keep it supple. Or, just use your current settings, but with less air pressure.. see how that works.

I can't really compare with how I have my 4-way setup because I'm a lot heavier (almost 2X your weight) and it's on a demo 9.
