The Demo9 came with a manitou Swinger shock. If you want to replace the shock with a Fox DHX, you'll have to get a mounting hardware kit from Fox. They have a direct kit for the aft, upper joint. However they do not produce a direct kit for the forward, lower joint. Instead, they supply you with a kit that includes a reducer bushing of the correct diameter, but about 0.360 inches too long. You have to reduce the length of the bushing with a metal cutting lathe. Below are some diagrams.
