Replacing uzzi vpx frame-ideas?

One of my bikes is an uzzi vpx/1.5 Totem DH with 2x9 drivetrain and 135 mm rear wheel. The slackerized dropouts and push MX coil have dialed the bike in pretty damn well, but I've reluctantly decided the ETT (23") and reach are too short for me.

Wanting to use my existing build (1.5 ST, 73/135 drivetrain, front der) cuts down the current options out there. Any suggestions for an approx 180 mm travel frame designed around around a totem A2C?

Check out the Scott voltage fr, can be built up as a short or long travel ride, and uses a real similar interchangeable dropout system to the one on the uzzi. In 180mm mode I believe it uses a 9.5 x 3" shock so the leverage ratio is low and the damper feels really plush and responsive.

Are you 10 x 135 or 12 x 135?

The 11 SX trail would be my choice in your shoes. The tapered headtube and 12x142 rear dropouts cause some fit issues with your present build. A number of 135 hubs offer axle kits to change them to 142, and you could always swap the uppers on you Totem for tapered.
The med SX reach feels like a large Intense due to the long downtube.

Yeah I may have to swap out the 1.5 totem uppers for a tapered ST. i like the stiffness:weight of a 1.5 stem, but the market sometimes moves in illogical directions. don't ride this bike as much as my nomad and DHR, so i'm trying to avoid spending too much $$$.

i can convert to 142; my intended point was that I don't want a 150 rear end, sorry.

thx for the ideas.

Intense SS2? It is slacker than the uzzi and seems to fit the bill with the rest. M is 23 inches but L is 24.
