Does anybody know about the dh riding in the San Luis Obispo area? I'm planning on going to Cal Poly this fall.

You will not be dissapointed. Best downhill scene in California in my opinion with the rockiest technical stuff around, and you will never have to drive more than 15 minutes to get to trails. I recommend hooking up with the wheelmen (poly's bike team) and having them show you around. There is a ton of riding, but you have to be shown around by a local since they aren't all well known.
