Planning an Addison to Middlebury to Hancock to Waitsfield to Bristol and return loop 9/9 if anybody's in the area.

McGRP01 - we're discussing doing this ride on mountain bikes, although no final decision - Me, Herb, who you met at M'fest, Peter, who rode with us at the Glen.

68 miles, on road bikes, clockwise, starting in East Middlebury, me and Herb and Pete, climbing Middlebury gap in a stupid intense thunderstorm... new XT rear end helped me a lot...
Sunday:
Me and Herb, mountain bikes, east to west and back, 32 miles, mostly pavement but a decent bunch of slag-paved doubletrack in the ruins of the town of Hammondville, adits and stone foundations and tailing piles and magnetite...
At the tail end of this one, Herb and I stumbled into a bakery and stuffed ourselves silly on sweets and I bought, honest to god, a
cake...
A good weekend of riding.

i am always jealous of your GPS mapping nonsense. i am bringing my GPS to VT50 and learnin me some tricks DAMMIT!
