went to rockyroads.net to check out the most popular cycling site in Europe that is title sponsor of UCI World Cup, and has more unique hits per day than fox news.... and it is gone.

what to do now? That site was so... umm... cutting edge.

Obviously they must have fried the server from experiencing such excessive loads and site traffic

anyone else having a bad day because of this too :D

no dice for me. Template error. Doesn't that just mean they've temporarily dropped the ball whilst they update something?

this whole situation makes me facepalm I mean :wtf: is the UCI thinking?

but how does this site have money? how does the UCI think rocky roads will be sustainable, or continue to pay for their Porsches later in the contracted time period?

A few things to note:

-The new WC logo now has two forms, chode, and erect (pg 2)
-Apparently they are the center of the industry (pg 3)
-Apparently they get a **** TON of web traffic, and an average on 9 minutes on site per visitor (pg 6)
-a new and soon to be released website (pg 7)
-a guarantee to SPAM the **** out of people (pg 9)

all fantastic stuff

as Kidwoo would say... "this is thrilling news"

Cool website. Thanks for the link. Some interesting articles across the range of cycling disciplines. Gonna have to throw it in my fav's :thumb:

I only went there because someone told me to look at the comical advertisement proposal they had posted. I was annoyed that my entertainment was delayed.

I posted a link in this thread somewhere... it is truly hilarious (dick logos, spam marketing, false traffic analytics, typos, etc).

What's even better than their completely fabricated traffic numbers are the average of 9 minutes on site. That doesn't happen. Ever. Even on real sites with massive legit content, places like cnn.

They didn't even do that, They simply went to dafont.com, went to and chose eroded andy probably got 3 pages in before they were like this font.

I'd like to ****ing smack their designer for phoning in the logo.
