Hey fam! I got the covid/flu shots at noon yesterday and they hit me like a ton of bricks overnight. Holy shit dude. 
I woke up at midnight and it felt like I had covid, then spent the night cycling through being cold and being sweaty hot, as well as being very achy. Now at 8:00 AM, I feel much better. I'm glad that's done! LMFAO

In the office. On a Monday. Boooo. Looking forward to spending a full 72.5% of my working hours this week in meetings of some sort.

On my own without my boys for two weeks so focus on work. Still dealing with my crash. I got a mild concussion too. Only positive is I did not break anything. Will be a while before I can ride again.
I do believe a ton of packages are arriving today, big heavy ones as well, didnt plan for them all to arrive today but oh well.

Back after a 4-day getaway. Intended to ride some desert gnar classics, instead got skunked with rain and rode whatever the opposite is of gnar classics, all short, all fun, did I mention classic?

today is my oldest's birthday. he turned 14. holy fuck. he's such a great kid... sigh.
I'm in my 'new' workspace today. moved my desk over 6' to the right! our basement reno is FINALLY fukkin' finished and we moved the TV and couch down there. That meant I could move my work desk from the middle of the living room/TV area to the corner of the room (what used to be the TV area). I think the new layout up here will work much better. And it's nice to have the TV room downstairs. We had it sound-proofed with rockwool in the ceilings and walls. there was 6 teenage boys goofing off and playing video games yesterday, and we couldn't hear them at all. so sweet!

Ordered a new helmet. After putting it through two crashes its and it being 10 years old its time. Hurray for post covid industry crisis as I got it at half price and cheaper then what I paid when I bought the old one 10 years ago. Went with a POC Tectal Race Mips (old was a Trabec which they don't make anymore). They fit my narrow head.
my wife did the double shot last thursdsay and was out of commission basically all Friday. didn't start feeling fully normal until midday saturday.

This approximates my double shot experience. Shots in the afternoon. Felt sick but not necessarily out of commission the next day. Pretty much normal the day after that.
Good luck. My wife got both shots yesterday and feels fine today, like she didn't get any shots at all. It's weird how it affects people differently. They always seem to kick my ass.
Here. Slept well in my own bed for the first time in 5 days. Shit load of emails to deal with and the corresponding phone calls. Hannah really didn't want to go to school this morning. Otherwise, back to normal.

Called the dermatologist for an appointment, lady says they're booking in March right now. I state I have concerns about something I'd like to get checked out sooner, puts me on hold, comes back and says new patients are booking in May currently.

I have had annual appointments for at least a decade. They usually find something to remove.
