 ( :dead: )

I'd say I had a horrible sleep last night, but I'm not sure if I actually fell asleep?

Anyways, today will suck. But at the very least, I don't have much to do other than drive for an hour to another location, join a meeting there for an hour and then spend an hour driving back home.

Left my car unlocked last night, derp. Good thing we don't have too many hooligans around here.

6" of freshie and summer tires on the Honda made for an exciting trip back to BZN where it's still "fall-ish"

I need a MTB vacation as I didn't get my RDA of dirt this "summer"

kids were "all up in my grill" all weekend, despite actually going out and doing some things. Didn't sleep great F or Sa, but that's probably because I stayed up late playing RDR2. Went to bed early yesterday, restless but seemed like a good night.

we seem to be on the kids sickness merry-go-round again. ffs. youngest was sick about 6 weeks ago. then oldest caught something to gave him pneumonia and was out fr a full week. then he started with insomnia (at 14... great... I hope this is temporary) hasn't slept a full night in 8 days. now my youngest is sick again, and I'm taking him to the doctor at 14:30. saw on the news that RSV is prevalent in our community. I hope it's just that, and not the pneumonia his big brother had.

work is slow at the moment, so at least I can wfh without it being too stressful.

summer tires on the Honda
/me checks to see this is not jdcamb with the "racing Honda". you mean non-winters, right, not summers, per se? (or is this an S2000 or CTR?)

re snow: nothing stuck down at my level. donned the full suit for the commute but it was just fine all around. mid week storm may be bigger :)

Morning Monkeys.

Trying to figure out where I'm going to take 88 hours of PTO still. Christmas week for sure and I guess a bunch of long weekends? I promise to plan better next year. I wasn't really sick this year, either. I will work on being sick more next year, too.

Can you carry any of the hours over or is it use it or lose it at your employer?

Dude. Finding days to take off should be the *easiest* thing you do all year. Just don't go to work. :homer:

I may be nuts
I think you may be... :clue:

Snowing down here - sticking just a wee bit. Looks like *not* putting on my snow tires may have worked, despite the others 'round here trying to jinx it.

I don't want to be a dick and bug out at the end of every sprint because YOU KNOW QA is at the end of every sprint. So I need to pick and choose my days around the project schedule.

Here. Snowing here. Haley decided a thin sweatshirt (not even a hoodie) and no beanie was a good clothing choice for school this morning. I saw her and our neighbor looking very cold waiting for the bus when I drove to Home Depot this am.

Good cold day, track day yesterday. Out with the fastest kids in the team again, so she's getting pushed really hard. They are all in faster classes than her, but they don't give her space in corners or pass politely. If they can't make a pass before a corner, they will stick their bumper to hers, and just push her through. She's getting a ton of experience with how the national series kids drive (heavy contact) and has been making a point to not pass on straightaways, but when she has to manhandle in a corner while trying to carry speed. She was about 1 seconds off with a cold track and a chain that has about .5sec/lap drag (lasts longer), so moving same if not faster to last week. Bueno.

Work finally abandoned the open floating office environment and finally assigned desks. I celebrated by making a little decoration.

Sounds like you just bug out at the *beginning* of every sprint. SMRT

Referring to the storms coming from mid-week onwards....
If all the stars align, and this storm checks all the boxes, many of you will be measuring snow with yard sticks.
FTS, clearly need to fill the petrol can for the snowblower.
