Tell me more. Mine was quite reliable until the cassette managed to permanently affix itself to the freehub...Beware the horror that is Stans hubs!
Aluminum freehub body? I rotated my cassette about 5 degrees relative to the stock aluminum freehub on my DT 350 hubs. No issues with the replacement steel freehub body.Tell me more. Mine was quite reliable until the cassette managed to permanently affix itself to the freehub...
The Stans Neo hub left me stranded and walking out in mosquito infested bush in May, after the steel drive ring in the hub body seperated from the aluminum hub body.Tell me more. Mine was quite reliable until the cassette managed to permanently affix itself to the freehub...
Winning for Motha Russia?18 mile run this morning. Now tired and sleepy. Waiting for Wife to finish her century ride and summon me to lunch
Why a canoe?I think I want a canoe.
That reason is one! No experience with them, just citing the obvious.Tell me more. Mine was quite reliable until the cassette managed to permanently affix itself to the freehub...
Because i would use it in calm waters and i dont think karla would like to kayak herself and a kid. Also two little kids. So i thought a three person canoe would be good for a little paddle and beers with maybe a little fishing when we go on road trips. Your thoughts?Winning for Motha Russia?

Canoes are great for what you just described as they are very versatile boats. Very stable, large weight capacity for the family. I suggest foregoing the aluminum ones as they bake in the sun. If you can find an old 16 foot Coleman poly canoe, get it. So long as its in good condition, (no cracks or UV damage, i.e. flaking plastic, sun bleach, etc).Your thoughts?
10/10 doctors recommend tiddies
With an extra dose of nipples
Floor mats that’s good stuff. I figured I’d also buy a cheep one person kayak as well.Canoes are great for what you just described as they are very versatile boats. Make sure kids and wife can help load it.
It will be plenty big for 2 adults, kids and a dog. If you can get linking floor mats, rubber or foam, cut it to fit the bottom of the canoe for grip and the dog will thank you. Rolling foam sleeping pads work as well, can be had cheap at Wally World.
Once you get the family size canoe, you will realize you want to go by yourself sometimes and find out 16 is bigger than you need for solo so you will also end up with a 12 or 10ft canoe or SoT kayak.
Craigslist is your friend. You can find good used kayaks for new, shit kayak prices if you look at the right time of year like fall and winter. Sometimes you can get a good bundle with Paddles, PFDs and Spray skirts.Floor mats that’s good stuff. I figured I’d also buy a cheep one person kayak as well.
