Crashing the WRX was a great move for me financially: halted my money wasting mod habit and got my money back, too, thanks to an extra equipment rider on insurance and lots of receipts.

They offered me $12k initially. They paid over $20k after my documentation laden appeal.

Since then I've abstained from wasting money on making cars quicker: only oil changes, scheduled services, and nice Nokians here and there.
