Coffee and donuts. Lawn mowing. Maybe a bike ride if the wife takes the boy to the YMCA with her. Grilling and beers with neighbors.
double espresso, hard boiled eggs, good nights sleep in the camper. show starts in 90 minutes and i need to get my ass in gear. Show is small so we will be done early and I should be on my bike by 3pm WIN

Left work early, yesterday, and drove to San Diego to perform at an open electronic music jam. It was a fun event, inside a giant glass pyramid. Not a huge audience, but the few folks there seemed to enjoy it. Decided to drive back to LA after, rather than spend the night and get stuck in daylight traffic. I think I'm going back to bed, now.
I have a plan for you, took me 30 seconds so it may not be sound...
1) Order the bike you want, ship it to @Nick.
2) Skip out of work early, assemble bike at Nick's while drinking his beers.
3) Skip work altogether for a week and ride many, many dusty trails.
4) Crash bike no less than 6 times to create authentic patina.
5) Go home eventually and store "new" bike behind old bike.
If Wifey discovers new "old" bike, claim ignorance, throw bike in back of truck* and head for the hills.
*may need to order a truck as well.

Mariko's head (and attached eyes) is the only big thing on her.
I've got an older 661 full face size XL that's only been worn a few times, no crashes. I lost so much weight that it doesn't fit me anymore. Lost a full helmet size. At the time it was the only one I could squeeze onto my massive mellon. PM if interested, for you of course.
Thanks for thinking of my big head (still smaller than YetiDHer!) but I don't do much riding needing a full face these days.
I think after today my week of staycation riding is over, tomorrow can be a rest day.

What it do! Dinner is cooking. I ran 10.5 miles early this morning and had to wear gloves. In August. I love it. The rest of the day has been spent adulting BOOOOOO! Back to acting like a child again tomorrow.
show is done for the day, road bike tires are pumped up. just need to decide which rolling loop through the foothills to go do for a couple of hours

After a brutal week followed by surprise Saturday duties at work (which began with 430am wake up dick punch from my kids), I was so angry looking that wife banished me to the trails. Turns out beers and some dusty turns with good buddies fixes damn near everything...
just pulled the trigger on a bike for my kid. got the fuji rookie 16 inch, buddy works at performance and got me a deal. other than that worked on the general store slash, saloon #2 and swam in the stock pond pool. gunna get a beer in hand to beat the heat.
6 weeks of hell will end tomorrow morning when i dawn patrol a mountains ride. the fact that no one was murdered by me during that time is a miracle whose story will endure for the ages.
~50 mile rO@d ride tonight at a 16 mph average. Feeling better than yesterday. Gorgeous ride in GTNP, bit 'o wind...
