After the lunch ride, there is a sprint as soon as you turn the corner down the block to the office. It was just two of us today, forgot about that. I'm seeing stars.
No breakfast, nothing in my stomach but 6oz of espresso. I think everything was in black and white for a while there. Holy crap.
I think I could have had him if my rear wheel hadn't been rubbing my brake badly with every pedal stroke. Next week.

I literally inhaled a Quiznos sub afterwards.

Lemond and I have a lot in common. Well, more like body shape. I'm talking about '09 Lemond, not '89 Lemond.
He's still a ton faster though.

I screwed up on my eating today during hill intervals and I popped my top and started to feel drunk. I took some gel and spent some time eating wild black berries that grow on that hill I was leery of descending back to town feeling like that. Anyone else pop during a ride today?
