Semi crashes into home - killing 3

So here in Santa Barbara, a semi crashed into a home yesterday killing 3 people inside early in the morning. The guy supposedly lost his brakes driving down highway 154. Funny thing is...there are plenty of ways he could have slowed down to keep from destroying a house and killing people at the very end of the highway.

All the times I've driven down that road I've always wondered what a semi would do it it lost it's brakes but usually figure the drivers are smart enough....aparently not.

am sure the driver is an idiot.... yeah dude, you could stop one (a loaded one at that) by dragging your foot, flintstone style. what an idiot for not thinking about that!
