I have ispec 2 works good. I don't care for the fact they are on gen 3 already, I imagine new xtr is going to be another version.

do you find it limits the range of adjustability too much? or is there still enough to work with? fwiw i'd be looking at ispec B (785 brake lever)

You have a decent amount of movement side to side but there is no rotation, which if you like an odd set up, you are limited.

I cracked an i-spec mount on my old 29er, fwiw. Thumbs of steel, they say.

Used it back when I had all Shimano stuff, thought it was fine, poorly executed for what it is, but it worked well enough. Never gelt I needed much adjustment range out of my sifter, so I don't think I can add much to the discussion there.

There's too many versions of it, generally incompatible with one another, the older version my wife had with 785 XT stuff was fiddly and small parts. I don't think you'll get any new 11 speed stuff to mount to your older brakes.

SRAM does it better.

Yeah, I use II now, but fuck shimano for making a new standard for the new XTR.
