Thru hiking the AT has never been a long term goal, but more of recent compulsion. However riding in the Pacific Northwest has been a dream for decades. Would love to ride those dark, loamy trails where everything is covered in green moss and surrounded by lush ferns. Hiking above 5000 ft. around here and I can see some very similar terrain.

That and I would like to build a proper set of drawers using cabinet making tools and wood joinery. Not put together with butt joints and finishing nails.

Back to the OG question though... what are some things I'd like to do? Haven't thought about that in a while. I'm going snorkeling in Cozumel soon, so that's a thing I'll have done. Guess I can put that on the list.

I guess hike A/T, PCT, and CT one-go would be on the list. Go to Patagonia. Hike to Machu Picchu. Pull an @Adventurous and do Everest base camp. I'd guess a lot of my 'shit I want to do' list involve getting away from people for extended periods of time...

Always wanted to hike the Inca trail in. Still want to see it, but now I think it would be the train, which in of itself it a seriously cool journey.

I have always wanted to steal a Train. They just leave them running at the CSX yard here. Almost no Security. I could possibly get in a Train chase. I wonder if Canada will extradite you for Train Crimes?
