I have a 1999 Yeti DH-8 with a pull-shock, and I would like to know what type of upgrades are available for it. I want to race it some, and would like to find a more tunable shock. Right now it has a Rock Shox Pro Deluxe that needs work.

Um...to the best of my knowledge, you are stuck with the Rock Shox. They are the only people that made the pull-shock. And as far as upgrades go, keeping it alive is about as good as you can hope for. I could be wrong, but I doubt it...
