I use a Kore B1B which is pretty short.

I have a spare if you want to try it out/buy it. it's a 45mm in black. (just like the pic)

You can also flip it over and get a negative rise.

I got an idea - put the frame in the freezer, and when the tubing shrinks, your current stuff will fit on it.
