Guys, ease up on him! He is a 16 yr. old kid who recently got into the DH/FR scene, and he is excited about the sport and he will be the next generation buying the $2000.00-$4000.00 bikes. Not mention, I have seen him ride and I have to say that the boy can fly!

Yeah its drilled out. It was already cracked and laying around so I figured why not.
That dh-9 is cool. I have always like the shape/look of the dh9.
My current ride. (Frame will be replaced tomorrow. Expect pictures! 
I had a haro x3 and converted it to an 8 inch travel frame thanks to an 3 inch stroke shock and a friend that worked at a machine shop. After I made the conversion, that frame felt better then my vp-free!

Im getting this bike with, a 36 talas, mrp, and hayes mag, and crankbro's 5050xx. The rest is pritty much the same except for xt instead of the Xo's, but i wished i could afford them.

Why are you gettting a talas? A van has 10mm more travel and is much more a freeride fork. I think that is more of a trail/4x fork.Adam Novatt said:
