My 66 RC2X adjuster knobs will hit the down tube if I try bar spins. I only need about 2-3mm more of clearance. What headset will give me a little more spacing on the bottom of the headtube? I run a CK headset now.

fsa pig dh pro steel or alloy deep insertion.

quite cheap and remember you only need the lower part of it.

can't you just pop a few spacers in the under the headset? as long as you have a bit of extrra space ontop..

My 66RC just clears on my frame, which is why I am happy I didn't get the 66RC2X but I am glad to know that there are options out there.

you could always take off the adjuster knobs too.

also canecreek makes a plus5 headset. i don't remember the whole name of it but it was made just for this reason
