I'm trying to decode the masses of E13 products on their webpage, but i can't seem to find a rear chain tensioner.

Do E13 make one? I need a rear chain tensioner for a SS DH MTB build.

For a hardtail, ideally you should have a frame with horizontal dropouts or an eccentric BB.

For a SS DH type setup, the only proper option is a Yess tensioner.

The return spring in many other models aren't up to the task for DH use. It is the cleanest solution for this application. Our bro Jason took a look at an earlier model a while ago which is worth a read:

You can theoretically run nothing up front...but at very least I would suggest somthing like the FreeChucker to ensure nothing weird happens under suspension action/pedalling/casing landings/etc. I would err on the safe side of having a guide and bashguard...this is downhill riding after all. Other guides to check out are the LS1+/SS+/LG1+/SRS+...all single ring with chainring protection.
