There are a few ways of doing Palisaides. Depending on when you're here the snow may not be all the way melted off the shady side of the ridge.

Here's one way of doing it if you want to avoid the snow skrog (which should melt any day now, if not already..)

you want Green Trails Map 238 Greenwater

Start at Buck Creek Rd. Upper Skookum Flats Trailhead
Go down Skookum for a mile
After a bridge there is a clearing that's really a split in the trail
Take the right that leads to the suspension bridge ride all the way to the highway
Take a right and ride all the way to 7174 take a left
Ride up take a left at the Y and quickly find Upper White River Trailhead
Ride down for 2 miles and find Ranger Creek Trailhead to the right
All the way up to the Shelter, Palisaides trail is to your left
Take Palisaides down to where it T's back into White River Trail take a left
You'll come to a 4 way go straight ignoring Snoquera Falls Trail to your left
After passing two Camp Sheppard recreation clearings you'll come to another 4 way
This one's a tad tricky the direct left is the end of Snoquera Falls, the soft left is White River resuming
Ignore another spur to your right
Stay on the trail til it brings you down to the Highway near Buck Creek Rd #1183

The prototypical way

If you're doing it the latter, you should start and finish at Camp Sheppard. So adjust the directions as such... His directions for avoiding a bridge at Deep Creek are a little off, just ignore the Deep Creek Trail and continue to your right on up to the bridge (a picture of that bridge on the thread i linked..) and avoid any spurs to the right, it'll take you to Corral Pass Rd. 7174. Also cross reference my directions thru White River where applicable, that's really the most confusing section if you are unfimiliar with the area....

Lets just say.....it's ALOT harder than Tiger, but the last mile started to smooth out alittle bit. It took us 4 hour ish to do 18.03 miles. Basically once your on top it's all downhill. The view is awsome. You can also do the shuttle system. You'll have a blast!

Hey dirtmover is that the FR before or after the crystal mountain chalet??
