Just wanted to let everyone know we did a rebuild of the slalom course at the rock trail in Gainesville. The course starts off as two separate lanes at the top, then comes together for a fun jumpy section featuring a step down to small double to big table to double finishing with a large table. Everything is easy to roll and a rider with any experience jumping should be able to jump most of the course. I think the biggest jump is close to 25 feet long from lip to lip, average being close to 20 feet. The course is fast. Pictures to come soon.

We still need help in the form of possible donations of loads of dirt and bobcat usage. We would like to continue the jumps on down the hill, so if anyone has access to heavy equipment or a hook up with loads of dirt that would be awesome. If you like to ride these features and use them a lot, consider making a donation to the build crew to buy more time on the bobcat. Eight hours got us quite a bit of new features.

here's a video of the reworked lower portion of the course. the slower/techy berm and rhythm section was removed and replaced with a few bigger/flowy-er jumps, which speeds the course up and makes it way more fun. full course runs ~ 25+ seconds at speed.

There's going to be a collegiate race there on Sat October 8th that will also have an open category for non-collegiate riders. still working out details but we can post up a flyer soon. The slalom will be on saturday afternoon, and entry fees will prob be around $20.
