Headed to SS for race this weekend and thought we'd leave a day early to hit some trails. Any info on the good stuff in Slatyfork? Maps? Some good Southern singletrack, the more technical the better...

Tea Creek trail off of the Scenic Highway is one of my favorites. For the most current maps and trail report I would contact/visit Elk River Touring Center. ERTC is located just 15 minutes south of Snowshoe on Rt. 219. They have many maps and have the strongest connection with the NFS trails around the area. www.ertc.com
