The external rebound knob slows it down but not enough. Any suggestions?

Higher viscosity oil.

I used a mix of 10wt &15wt in my 66 vf2 and worked perfect! Left the compression side at 7.5wt. Just mix it with 1/4 15wt and 3/4 10wt non foaming suspension oil. No more top out after that! And it's still smooth thru the travel.

If it slowes it down, but not enough.... and still tops out, try half and half of each weight!
